I'm not sure what the mood is between tired and happy, but that's where I am. Boxes of documents are moving out of my office to land, one hopes without too much of a thud, on the desk of: 1) an accounting firm, 2) a branch of the federal government, and 3) another law firm. For some bizzare reason, boxes to three destinations actually requires four cover letters...
The letters are done, the boxes are packed, and as long as the boxes go to their proper destinations, the world will be a happy place. : ) Of course, that means I now must go down to our "other" building and review other people's reviewing of documents (what we in the doc review business call "quality control," or "QC" for short). Ah well - I have no intention of beating myself senseless against a stack of documents, so I'll do what I can and leave it at that.
I will take this space to make a quick music recommendation: "Dimanche a Bamako" by Amadou & Mariam. Fantastic music. The album was produced by Manu Chau and has some songs with a very similar sensibility to his, particularly the song "Senegal Fast Food," my favorite track on the album.
Go forth and be worldly.
